I am a lifelong community advocate, an agent of hope, and a champion of higher education!
I am one of five siblings, born and raised in Memphis, TN. I am a first-generation college student, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management/Accounting from Rust College (1990). In 1997, I returned to school and pursued a Master of Science Degree in Health Care Administration from Central Michigan University (1999) as a married mother to four (4) young children. I earned a Doctorate Degree in Health Care Administration from Virginia University of Lynchburg (May 2024).
I am an Innovative Population Health Executive with strong leadership and experience spanning Value Based Care, Accountable Care Transformation Coach and Patient Centered Medical Homes, with an emphasis in data management, decision-support analytics, “Healthcare Startups“, serving and educating vulnerable populations. My areas of expertise encompass Managed Care, Health Plans and Insurance, and Hospital Health System Management. My concentrations include Clinical Valuation, Quality Management and Improvement, Healthcare community advocacy, DEI, SDOH, RFP Clinical Engagement Strategy, Clinical Cost Accounting/Decision Support Services, Claims Data Management, Claims Audit and Training, Practice Management, Care Delivery, Key Performance Indicator, Program Management, Health Policy, Enhancing Quality and Service Utilization.
